Yum....I was looking for a classic nibble cake and this was slap-up, esp if you are a "more than crumb. less cake" person. I added all crumbs to bake at once instead adding the remainder later. I'll add together a petty more than cinnamon next time.

I've been making this block for some time with a few tweaks. I always utilise a xiii x 9 pan just add one and a half cans of Comstock fruit filling (blood-red, huckleberry and apple seem to always be the biggest hits) on acme of the baked block, then press the nibble mixture on peak of that..and bake the remainder of the way. Thanks for jogging my memory about the vanilla extract. Doing information technology from memory..the crumb mixture seemed to be missing something. At present I know! I get rave reviews on this fruit crumbcake at work!
05/21/2010
I used to make this cake all the time and lost the recipe years agone. But divergence - I use the "butter" cake mix. This is the best nibble block. Thanks for posting.
06/14/2010
I usually don't review but afterwards seeing mixed reviews I had to say something. This cake is actually good and very like shooting fish in a barrel. If you can follow instructions, it won't exist dry out. How can people say it's dry but nonetheless undercooked?? It was a hit at our town's spring block political party.

This review is just for the crumb topping-- if you are interested in making the whole cake, read no further. I fabricated this today because I had been dreaming of nibble cake, and actually more near the crumb than the cake. I had some cherries on hand that were starting to become questionable in freshness, and so I made a cream-cheese cherry pound cake (recipe from cookrepublic.com) for the cake part. Then, when information technology was almost done blistering, I sprinkled the crumb topping--ALL OF It-- onto the height of the block. After baking information technology for about ten minutes more with the oestrus turned upwardly to 400 degrees to brown the top, I pulled the baked cake out of the oven and allow information technology sit out for about ii hours to absurd and set. And then.......... I cut a slice for myself. Succulent! The crumb topping was perfect-- thick, well-baked, slightly sweet, and slightly nutty in flavour. A new favorite!

I made this cake and information technology was gone in 2 hours. I fabricated a few changes. I added footing clove and ground ginger to the crumble. I also put pure pumpkin puree in between the layers. Before I put the crumble on, I spread ane big tin of pumkin puree over the cake. To the puree I had added the aforementioned spices plus a scant tsp of salt. Everyone loved this version every bit well

First-class!!! Loved all the crumbs it made!! Was a winner in my business firm!
08/22/2011
This is a great recipe! The crumbs were easy, and they tasted delicious! I did change the recipe a bit, just cypher too big. Instead of using ane 1/ii cups butter, I used 1 cup margarine and i/2 cup butter. Also, instead of using a boxed cake, I used a recipe for vanilla block! The recipe was not from this site, only you coud employ a vanilla cake recipe from this site. I think information technology works improve than a boxed cake mix. Overall, this recipe was a big success! Everybody enjoyed information technology, although the crumb was a little rich! It was yet nifty though... It looked amazing and tasted even better! Thanks for the recipe! This is a keeper! Oh, and definetly employ a 9x13 pan... not a jellyroll pan.
11/07/2010
A little bland and way as well many crumbs... i added coffee instead of water and it gave it a scrap more season.
02/29/2012
I had to do a trial run first. I learned a lot from the get-go become around. Y'all really need to use less flower for the crumbs and more butter when making the crumb topping. Other and so that I love it!
01/xxx/2011
Cracking cake! But, It says use a jelly roll pan which I did and it spilled all in my stove. Tip: use a larger pan!
07/01/2012
This cake is soo practiced and ameliorate than expected. I was nervous based on some of the reviews simply decided to use it for a broil sale, it sold out and I was asked numerous times for the recipe. ... To exist honest, I think some of the other reviewers just don't know how to follow a packaged cake recipe. I don't empathize how the cake wouldn't be cooked.... check your oven temperature. I did use margarine and more cinnamon which are part of the Footnotes - Cook's Notes -I used a jellyroll pan -Margarine - per cooks notes -More cinnamon -Followed block mix package instruction (used butter block mix) -Fabricated ALL of the crumbs including the four 1/2 cups of flour (you only need to alloy well) the margarine absorbs the four mixture) -Yeah there were a lot of crumbs, merely that'south what I wanted. PERFECT!!
08/23/2010
Has become go-to recipe. Crumb comes out better made with margarine over butter.
06/08/2010
GREAT! Loved information technology! I all of the topping!! Yous but need to know how to bake a bones cake and the topping simply comes together.
06/08/2010
My family and friends loved this block. It was very simple. I followed the recipe almost exactly -I did use Duncan Hines Butter block mix and about 1/four less crumbs and at that place was still a lot. This is a keeper!! (Information technology goes peachy with coffee).
03/01/2018
I made this twice - So here information technology goes....I call back what is missing in the instructions is to cook the butter when making the crumb topping. Mix all the dry out ingredients for the crumb topping commencement, then add extract and melted butter. Mix well and yous volition take overnice big crumbs. The ratios of the ingredients are correct. I live in NY where you tin find nibble cake in every baker. This is what classic NY crumb cake tastes like. The other reviews that suggest pumpkin or all those other additions will not make a classic apparently crumb cake. The other matter is to utilize the jelly pan roll that is suggested. Nothing spills in the oven because you lot are cooking the block role till almost washed. In one case you lot add the crumbs, it volition be higher than the pan sides , but it will sit down on the cake - non spill over. Simply put it in the oven straight. For me the amount of crumbs is just enough. I put all the crumbs on the cake and did not hold whatsoever back. It doesn't quite make sense to concord back crumbs and then add together not browned crumbs to a finished cake. Y'all do see the difference. In a jellyroll pan this will make a cake that is half cake and half crumb. When you cut it up information technology makes a lot of servings. About 24 squares. Employ the yellow block mix that is specified in the recipe also. It is not dry.
02/23/2011
dry out - don't put in jelly curlicue pan - try in glass casserole dish
01/08/2012
For the topping I did way less flour that it called for, more than brown sugar and peradventure a little less butter and added salt till information technology tasted right. For the people who say the cake part was dry... I have noticed butter recipe cake mixes always come out dryer and more bland than the yellow cake mixes so I would recommend the yellow block mix vs the butter recipe box. Hope this helps! :)
05/fourteen/2010
Sheila - amazon has 12x18 jellyroll pan... http://www.amazon.com/Wilton-Jelly-Roll-Cookie-Inches/dp/B0000CFMLC Lisa B - question but is your oven temp right? Adjacent time, simply follow the cake mix instructions then add the topping last last few minutes of cooking time. Be sure to printing downwards the crumbs into the block. The crumb texture will be more than on the dry side but not too dry out. Whether you cull to use butter or margarine, it will cook with the mixture in the oven.
05/23/2010
DELISH!!!! FOLLOWED RECIPE EXACTLY & LOOOOOVED Information technology! OUR v Year OLD SON YUMMED HIS Way THRU IT! I WAS SOOO EXCITED TO FIND THIS RECIPE- IM A More CRUMB THAN CAKE KINDA GAL :P THANKS FOR SHARING
09/12/2010
Very dry and it just did'nt gustatory modality skilful. Expensive with all the ingredients, I would'nt recommend this.
08/31/2010
True, there is a ton, A TON, of crumb topping on this block. It wasn't about sweet enough for my liking though. I would recommend cut down the flour. I used a butter cake mix. I've read that this block is banal, I would have to concur. There's just something missing here.
04/22/2016
Used 1/2C less flour and 2T cinnamon for crumb topping. Baked in a 9x13 pan (overflowed first time in jelly roll pan). Excellent crumb to cake ratio. It stayed moist for many days.
05/xv/2016
Some suggestions to make this recipie the style you await information technology to exist: moist and succulent! brand your crumble before the cake and then it prepare to utilize right away. I used a 12 x18 jelly roll pan and the cake was completely washed in 15 minutes. Second time I cooked it for 10. You must utilise the crumble right away while the cake is slightly undercooked. Don't let the cake rest! The proffer for margarine in the crumble is a good ane. First time my crumble was on the dry out side and stayed that mode after blistering. Second time I used less flour for a moister crumble while Keeping the other ingredients the aforementioned - combined with the he undercooked cake and an extra five minutes for the moister crumble, this was simply what i would look from the bakery. Thanks for the recipie!
11/29/2011
Also bad, I had high hopes for this cake. The block did not cook all the way and well-nigh of the nibble topping sunk towards the centre. The outer edges were cooked just I had to thow this abroad. Cooked it in a 13x 9 glass dish, but followed everything else to a T. So disappointed this was a waste material of coin. I call up I'll stick to crumb cake at my local coffee shop.
07/04/2017
Very good. No way was information technology likewise many crumbs....perchance if using a thirteen X ix, only recipe calls for the jellyroll pan. But, I was dreaming of the wonderful Crumb Squares from the (sadly) at present airtight Mattina's Baker in Brick, NJ, and it just didn't measure up to that. Used the jellyroll pan, bought the correct size on Amazon, and it worked out fine. Odd though, that photo shows a 9 10 13 pan?? Next time I plan to endeavour using Duncan Hines Butter Cake mix, and throwing in a box of instant vanilla pudding to the cake mix. Might also try margarine for crumbs rather that butter, simply that seems like heresy to me! Thanks for the recipe!
xi/08/2017
This is a big hit with my family. I increased the chocolate-brown carbohydrate to 1 one/two cups, threw in some white sugar and actress butter...used less flour...information technology is delicious!!
01/05/2012
I thought the picture looked great! tasted so bad I'm sorry
02/03/2013
I fabricated this in a 13 X 9 pan and I cut the topping downwardly past one/3. I was very happy with the effect. Very Moist, PLENTY of topping. I did cook it a few minutes longer.
11/15/2011
First, thanks for sharing the recipe. I thought it was skilful but wasn't "amazing". A little disappointed but however good.
05/25/2010
I'm sad, only these bars were too dry. Manner too much crumb topping. 4 1/ii cups flour....I nonetheless can't believe that is correct. Any this receipe is non a keeper. Sorry
08/08/2010
I was really excited to make this block. Very dissappointed because it had no sense of taste. Are you sure information technology's that much flour in the crumbs?? I have a huge sweet tooth and was anticipating a very sugary taste.
08/15/2013
This recipe was excellent.....the only thing I did add together was a box of instant vanilla pudding to the block mix. I love moist cakes and the instant vanilla pudding makes it and then moist!! Also, I added all the crumb topping to the cake after baking 17 minutes in a 13x9 Wilton pan. Absolutely amazing!!!
06/11/2010
I ordinarily just avoid rating if I don't like only this was a dry disaster.
01/09/2015
My family loves this cake. Its piece of cake to make and the kids love to help make the crumbs.
03/xi/2012
Expert but not peachy. I used a Betty Crocker Butter Recipe Cake Mix & just made/used one half of the topping which was more than enough for a 13 X 9 pan. The nibble topping was proficient but the cake was a piffling dry out.
01/21/2012
Skillful recipe. First fourth dimension, I tried it in 2 round cake pans, only should have spread into iii. It was however actually proficient for such a simple recipe.
05/26/2010
Great cake. I made this for my daughter'due south school broil sale and it was a huge hit. I followed my cake mix instructions and added the crumbs when the cake was nearly gold. It 's nonetheless moist several days later. Possibly the other reviewer didn't add together enough butter? If you cutting back on butter I would call up yous would cutting back on the crumb ingredients too. I volition make again, soon! Thanks for the piece of cake recipe!
12/28/2012
I accept made this cake for years. I like cake mixes with pudding included in them. I've used many different flavored cake mixes, the favorite was always a good chocolate. I always employ a big cookie canvas with ii inch sides, then each bite is half cake and half crumbs. I always wanted to add fruit (pie topping) but wasn't sure if I had to bake the block longer earlier calculation it. I was concerned it might become mushy.
07/24/2010
this cake was extremely dry out and did not stay together, it kept falling apart.
06/01/2010
Easy recipe but a picayune banal. I think I would change the cake to a lemon cake to punch it up a niggling bit. The topping actually does make a lot; I didn't utilise all of it and still had a prissy layer.
12/26/2012
This cake is delicious. Everyone loved it. I accidentally left out one stick of butter in the crumb topping though and it still turned out fantastic. Tons of crumbs! I think it would be really adept also if apples were added under the crumbs. I think I volition try that next time. I used a 13x9 pan.
01/03/2019
I made this virtually iii times. I'yard even getting creative and put them in muffin pans
09/20/2016
As shut to perfect equally it goes. I might add more spice next time, it was balmy, but nevertheless, gone in brusk order. This is a keeper. And really - so easy.
06/11/2018
IF I were going to make this again, I would use FAR less flour in the crumb topping. My 'block' was non-existent but 100% crumb topping. Made for my inlaws and had to rush to store to buy a cake as this was inedible. Not plenty carbohydrate to flour ratio so not even sweetness. I would ask if the crumb topping ingredients were listed properly, and if then, I cannot recommend the recipe. Sorry. Looks and sounds good so what did I do incorrect?
05/15/2016
I had a cake mix on hand, simply no icing. What a great recipe! In that location is no such thing every bit "too many" crumbs for us. This would exist great for a breakfast, brunch, or dessert. Nosotros had it as dessert and with coffee the side by side morning time!
01/10/2012
The simply matter I changed is the amount of Flour in the nibble mixture. it was more doughy than sweet like I retrieve of the crumbs. Plus there is far more nibble than is needed. I cutting back by 1.5 cups. This made it a little sweeter and a niggling mucilaginous. Either way a great recipe!
04/eighteen/2019
Very dry out and bland. I'll remake it with a few added extras from this exact recipe. FYI please cutting the flour if your going to brand this cake, it's mode to much flour.
03/19/2015
This recipe is excellent. My beginning time making a crumb cake and it turned out beautifully - very moist, with lots of crumbs. If annihilation, I might add more than crumbs next time. For the nearly function I followed the recipe - the yellow cake mix I bought was xv ounces not 18 and I added a 5 ounce bag of vanilla pudding mix. I also added caramel filled chocolate morsels to the cake - it turned out well simply next time I might pass. Definitely recommend the confectioner'south sugar at the stop. Thank yous for sharing this recipe!
02/26/2013
the recommended jellyroll pan for the crumb cake was 18 x 12. Searched everywhere in columbus, Ohio for this size to no avail. Where is that size pan available? Sheila (sbsloan@sbcglobal.net)
12/31/2014
I fabricated this for my Christmas work party. Everyone raved about information technology! Just changes I made was one additional tbsp of cinnamon and 1/2 tsp more vanilla excerpt. Super delish! I miss NJ style crumb cake and now I can have it hither in AZ! I am making it tonight likewise, with my 13 y\o daughter! Happy New Years Eve!
08/27/2019
Made this as written, as was good. Still, later on reading reviews was going to add pureed pumpkin between block and nibble layer simply had none. I did find a jar of lemon curd, and put that on unbaked block, then put crumb layer on and into oven. Fantastic and moist!
04/19/2014
This recipe is perfect. I didn't change annihilation to information technology.
12/05/2014
Excellent recipe the flavor is amazing and texture is perfect
09/14/2014
DELISH! I used DH Moist Palatial Butter mix and followed the instructions on the box. I was a lilliputian nervous making the nibble topping considering it seemed very dry with all of the flour but the butter will cook and the end outcome is a wonderfully thick crumb topping. If you decide to reduce the amount of crumb topping remember to proportionately cutting back the topping ingredients as they wont come out correctly - either too moisture (not enough flour) or dry (not plenty butter). I also used a glass 9X13 dish. Brand sure you remember to grease the dish/pan. I volition bake this once again.. maybe with fresh Fall apples? The topping reminds me of almost a 'crisp' topping, minus the oats. Regardless, information technology will be succulent as is.
01/thirty/2022
iv 1/2 cups of flour? I read the directions 10 times. Did I read that wrong? My crumb topping is basically just flour? Someone help me empathise
11/29/2018
I used a butter pecan cake mix in place of the yellow mix. Yummy....
04/eighteen/2013
I dear the extra topping! This is so much easier using the box cake when your in a bustle. I tin can't wait to brand this!
09/05/2016
I made this with one 1/2 mixes. 325 25mins. Then added nibble for 20mins. Followed the residuum of the recipe with exception of 2x cinnamon & stick margarine for the nibble. We'll see how it is tomorrow when I serve it.
05/22/2010
Follows the recipe to a T...would non fully broil. Not sure what happened? Smelled delicious but not edible. I may try again but not real excited as the offset was a waste.
06/16/2011
WAY too many crumbs and kind of dry but the flavor was good.
08/28/2017
I made this and my family loved information technology! Takes only like the proper name brand that I purchase in the store. Swell recipe!
05/07/2018
This is my 3rd time making this, it comes out perfect every time. The only matter I accept changed was to put the all the crumbs on before putting it back in the oven. Delicious cake.
08/xx/2016
Fabricated this and the crumb topping was not bad . Problem is the cake portion was sooooooooo dry out . I used Duncan Hines Butter cake mix the but mix I ever use . Never had a problem with this box cake existence dry . I will absolutely attempt this over again . Very easy to make .
04/02/2014
I idea it was skillful but I felt that the nibble topping had too much flour and not plenty brown sugar. Information technology is too a ridiculous corporeality of crumb topping for a 9 x thirteen block. I will experiment with the amounts when I make it next. I used a Duncan Hines yellow butter cake mix and followed directions and information technology was moist and succulent, but the crumb topping looked a fiddling anemic and was on the dry side. It was well received but I am going to dabble with the nibble topping side by side time.
ten/17/2019
Yum!!!!
05/29/2015
Made this cake 4 times already! Each time gone in less than a day! The last 2 times I added a simple glaze to concord the crumbs on a little more. Anyone who says this cake is dry must non be reading the directions properly!!
03/28/2020
I did it exactly the way the recipe said. It was ok. Next time I will use a 13x9 casserole dish so the cake is thicker. I will also cutting back on the flour in the crumb topping.
07/16/2018
Loved it! The cake portion turned out great, I used butter cake but I'm certain yellow tastes just as yummy. It was a bit dumbo and still flavorful and moist which is perfect for the nibble on top. The crumb came out great too. I had to add another 1/4 c butter to go everything to contain and I added some vanilla. If I do anything dissimilar next time I'll just add together a little more sugar and salt to the topping. Thanks for a great recipe!
11/16/2020
Information technology tasted ok but was very dry. Surprised it was dry with all the butter!
08/06/2012
I retrieve next time I will make the block the mode the box says vs following the recipe, and volition prob sub butter cake mix vs yellowish it didn't rising like I wanted information technology to. Also my crumbs came out too dry out. Could be because it was my 1st time but I'1000 known for my cakes and this did non represent me well at all. Only with a few adjustments I think I can make information technology work for next time.
06/05/2014
Waaay too much flour. If I do this cake once more I would definitely cut the flour in half at to the lowest degree.
12/17/2020
I made a double batch and they came out dry out, with the nibble not staying on the cake. The directions do not say in what form the butter should be in the crumb. So I didn't know if information technology was supposed to be melted, room temperature, refrigerated, or frozen (similar I use in my pastries). Since the butter in the block was room temperature, that is what I did with the butter in the crumb. I'thou thinking it was supposed to be melted.
11/04/2020
I was born in NY and love/miss the Crumb cake we got from the Bakery. I have spent years trying to get that same flavor but nothing has come close...until this recipe. The Crumb topping and the block are nearly identical to what my taste buds so fondly remember. I am in the process of adjusting this recipe to suit my tastes. Big thing... Regardless of what you apply, butter or margarine, MELT the butter for the topping! If yours is dry and crumbly, that's why. You didn't melt the butter. (I used softened butter twice too earlier I found the hint in a review.) I but used 4 cups of flour. It notwithstanding seemed a little to dry. I might increment the butter next time and utilise the total 4 1/2c flour. I tried adding a piffling pudding to the cake mix once just information technology concluded upwardly very dense. Yummy and moist simply just non right. Lol
01/27/2020
I demand help to sympathize this recipe. First, I can't observe a box of 18.25 oz cake mix, so I went with xv.25 box. Second, butter is listed twice. Is the outset instance supposed to be added to the cake mix? If and then, that dislocated me because the xv.25 oz box doesn't phone call for butter. If not, so why practise I add different measurements of butter twice? I didn't add together the i/2 cup butter (1st example of butter) and used one.v cups butter (2nd instance) and cut it into the flour and brown sugar. I added the other ingredients and couldn't come up with medium crumbs. What am I missing? Was I supposed to add the h2o and the eggs? I did, merely it turned information technology into a thick paste. Ron Wenger Rookie
08/27/2014
I did not intendance for this recipe.
04/24/2020
I recall I'm gonna cutting back only a tad on the topping. I doubled the recipe and I concluded up trying to make a HEAP of topping. I shouldn't have doubled the top. anyhow, it tastes super good! thank you for sharing!!
06/23/2013
Fabricated this for Christmas one year. My family unit has always rather eat the crumb than the cake. It was such a huge hit that this by year I had to make 3; one for guests, one for my parents and 1 for my in laws. The cake is and so moist!!!
03/26/2016
Information technology was great. Decreased the crumbs a niggling. I also added canned cherries on top before the crumb topping. It was a huge hitting!
07/26/2019
I love this versatile recipe. I've made information technology with chocolate cake mix as well as with a red velvet cake mix. Both were big hits. Today I'1000 trying it with a carrot block mix.
02/04/2018
This is a great recipe, even though I fabricated some adjustments, i of which I won't repeat next time. I used ginger ale instead of h2o, because I had it on manus; non sure if information technology added any flavor since information technology was only 2/3 c, but didn't hurt. For convenience, I placed the crumbs on the cake at the beginning of cooking; this is the step I would not echo side by side time as the crumbs were on the dry out side (not the cake, just the crumbs). Delicious nonetheless, but a more "gooey" texture like in one of the photos would probably be even better, for this book of crumbs. I reduced the crumb ingredients as I was low on butter, which was lucky for me equally, fifty-fifty the reduced amount barely fit on the cake using my largest sail pan. (Information technology must be but 10 x xv?) I accept to wonder if the total amount would fit in my 9 10 13 cake pan. For the crumbs I used: three c flour, one c brownish sugar, 1/two c granulated sugar, 2 sticks butter, 5 tsp cinnamon, 1 T vanilla, and nigh 1 and 1/4 c chopped pecans. The pecans were a not bad addition, they added a LOT of flavour, and the cinnamon/sweet seemed just correct as the cake is not very sweetness. Tasted great but side by side time I will add more than butter to the crumb ratio, or not place the crumbs until afterward the cake has been pre-cooked every bit in the recipe directions, or both. Still it is delicious; probably can't really mess this ane upwardly; great recipe, thanks!
01/07/2020
Yum! We loved this! Warmed up a little with a glass of cold milk!
09/11/2018
highly addictive
ten/24/2016
Used pumpkin purée instead of extra butter in the cake mix! Such a great fall treat!!
07/07/2018
I followed the receipt although the block was delicious. I think it could use a little scrap more sugar and melted butter. It was dry.
xi/04/2020
I went by the recipe 100%. According to anybody who has tasted it the crumbles are a little to big (my fault). I found it to exist slightly bland but again I think I tin can adjust that. Overall I loved it and volition exist making it again with a few tweaks.
01/25/2021
My new go to coffee cake recipe
06/17/2020
Non from a box girl ever, so I added an egg, substituted whole milk for water, melted butter for oil. I want to say this: your feel matters. If yous are from New Jersey or NY Metro, this is Not what you would expect. Those are fabricated with yeast dough, and the CRUMBS contain the cinnamon and brown saccharide, not the cake. I am sure this recipe is from someone's babyhood memories, and that counts. The cake sans the chocolate-brown sugar and cinnamon, and with those adjustments make a proficient dense base for whatever you desire.
07/29/2020
My first bite was atrocious! WAY also much flour in the topping. With 1 1/two cups butter that seems difficult to imagine but I had to run for water. I was and then disappointed.
02/08/2015
Big hit at husbands piece of work. I did add together instant pudding. also made in Bundt pan which puts the crumb mixture on bottom. Probably wont do this again. Powdered saccharide dusting a must. I used French Vanilla cake mix
12/27/2019
By far the best coffee cake I've ever tasted!!! I got huge compliments from everyone at Christmas. One issue was when I had to spread the second half of the batter on tiptop of thr cinnamon mixture. It did non want to spread. Does anyone have any tips on that? Also has anyone ever froze it? Information technology makes a lot merely would exist cracking to have on hand.
05/30/2019
Way to go self..and thank you all for the delicious recipe
01/16/2020
I added a layer of blueberries between the cake and crumbles and it was WONDERFUL!!
03/18/2022
I added more cinnamon and vanilla, and used all the nibble at once. My family unit loved it. I volition brand once more. Thank you so very much.
10/11/2020
I was and then excited for this simple cake, but information technology failed big time. The block completely baked in xv minutes, then the crumble ended up a difficult, impenetrable layer on top. And the crumble has too much flour for my taste despite adding at to the lowest degree 2x the cinnamon. I have fabricated similar cakes with corking success. The actual cake, though, was tasty, but the whole matter isn't salvageable
03/30/2013
Help what did I practice wrong...never got crumbs out of the mixture...the cake is not washed at 35 minutes already...
01/25/2016
This recipe cake-wise was average at best. I didn't care fro the crumb topping. Likewise much flour It was bland and too floury, just non good. Won't make once more.
01/xi/2013
Fabled recipe! Makes a big pan and for the crumb lovers - perfect! I'm trying it today with a layer of raspberry jam under the nibble topping - I'll keep y'all posted!
07/thirteen/2020
iii words......yummy....yummy...addictive!
